Another Set of Wings and Retirement Announcements

It’s been a heartbreaking week here at RockinDachs.

Ajah’s little girl faded away yesterday afternoon despite being hand fed for the last few days. At this time we have determined that Ajah wasn’t able to produce what the puppies needed to survive. We also believe that there were underlying health issues in the puppies that have passed away. Ajah’s remaining puppy is doing well and gaining weight daily. We will continue to monitor him carefully and step in if he requires help.

Due to our findings in this devastating situation we will be retiring Ajah and helping her find a good retirement home.

In addition to everything going on with Ajah’s litter we have confirmed that Jubilee went through a false pregnancy. She will also be seeking out a retirement home. In our constant evaluation of our dogs we have determined that she isn’t the best fit for our program.
