More about Buttercup

Buttercup · Smooth Red Piebald · $2,000 Buttercup is all sass and all heart. She was raised underfoot in our own home, loved well by a toddler, and has never once questioned her right to the middle of the bed. She takes her time with new people — a little reserved at first, then entirely yours. She is available because of our move and the downsizing that comes with it. Nothing about Buttercup is the reason she is looking for a home. She is microchipped with Fi Nano and carries our Lifetime Genetic Health Guarantee. She is not AKC registered and is placed as a companion. Here is the honest picture of where she stands. She has a good start on her potty training and will need a consistent household to finish it. She is not crate trained and objects to it firmly — and the truth is her objection is not really about the crate. Buttercup does not want to be separated from her people at all, and she will tell you so from a playpen just as readily. She is steady off leash for her age, but leash training is still ahead of her. The right home for Buttercup has someone in it most of the day, room to be vocal without a shared wall to carry it, and the patience to teach her that being briefly alone is survivable. That work is ahead of her, and it is real work. We build the foundation. You build the life. With Buttercup, more of that life is still yours to build — and she is worth it.
